Sandra D grew up in Los Angeles and attended Santa Monica College. She got into hairdressing on accident. In a nutshell she thought she was taking a make up course, paid for the class, unzipped her kit to find a dollhead (with hair) rolled out and she could not get a refund after opening the kit!
Since then, she's been a talented hairstylist for 12 years and counting. During those twelve years Sandra has been dedicated to her craft and built a solid clinetelle. For five years she taught color classes at the assistant program at Allen Edwards Salon in Studio City.
As far as "Hairdressing", she studied the classic art of pin curling and finger waving from a gentleman who was in his prime in the 1940's and 50's. After mastering this art of hairdressing, she continues to educate other enthusiasts, not only in the salon, but by hosting events such as the Wet Set Social. Sandra D currently styles at Capella Salon in Studio City.
